November 15th & 16th: Local Events in the Fox Valley WI / Fox Cities WI
Flood the Streets with Art Workshop
November 15, 3:00pm – 7:00pm, Hortonville Municipal Center
“Flood the Streets with Art” is a worldwide phenomenon in which local artists create works and, as a random act of kindness on Black Friday, “drop” them in public places for a stranger to find, pick up, take home, and love for free. To prepare for “Flood the Streets”, stop in this afternoon for a workshop with local Hortonville artists to create a masterpiece and learn more about the upcoming event. All are welcome to attend at your leisure. The workshop will take place in the Community Center at the Hortonville Municipal Center. Supplies and crafts will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own or a work-in-progress. Tags for your completed work will also be provided so that the person who finds your “dropped” art will know that it is free to a loving home and they’ll be able to learn more about the movement.
