Duane is the best at what he does. My husband and I contacted him to sell our house that we had been trying to sell on our own for five months. The first time we meet with Duane he asked us what our goal was for the sale of the house. Mainly we wanted to get it off our hands as quickly as possible because we had already moved and we were paying two mortgages. Duane got to work for us quickly and had our house on the market in no time. Within two weeks we had an offer on our house. I was very impressed and excited. He is extremely knowledgeable, honest and professional. He took, what I considered, a very stressful situation and made it easy and worry free for us. Bottom line, hire Duane to sell your house. If you need more convincing read on. We were selling. Interviewed 5 realtors late summer 2014. We’re still waiting to hear back from 2 that said they’d be in touch. Only 1 came in with a real market analysis. We hired that person before meeting Duane. We listed our unique home in Sept. 2014. There was plenty of “stuff” in this home. We were willing to follow whatever directions the realtor gave us. We were told it was all fine. As the days progressed, we tried tweaking the house on our own hoping our buyer would walk through the door. No success. Our contract expired the end of December with no sale. We pulled off the market for a couple months and relisted with the same realtor in March 2015. In April we accepted an offer contingent on the sale of their home. Not many showings after that since we were in a “pending” phase. We weren’t hearing much from our realtor. The accepted offer was expiring soon with no offers on the buyers home as was our contract with our realtor the end of June. We needed a change. Once again, we contacted 3 realtors based on online reviews this time. One realtor interviewed had very little enthusiasm and felt things looked great just they way they were. Not it! We were looking for a change. Several reviews stated if we want to sell our home, Duane was our guy. Duane spent a great deal of time with us that first day. He renewed our hope that this old home was a great place and worth what we were asking. He has great visual skills. His enthusiasm was contagious. As for that third realtor, we never met her. Duane was what we had been looking for since August 2014. We signed the contract and listed with “Expert Real Estate”. Duane brought in a professional photographer for pictures. Several people commented how impressed they were with the beautiful pictures on line and how nice the home looked. After a few changes our first showing were the same people who placed an offer on the home in April. They accepted an offer on their home and wanted to write another offer contingent on financing. We accepted. This sale would go back to our old realtor. Duane took the backseat. Once again, we were moved to the “pending” stage. Showings were put on hold as we awaited loan confirmation. After too many days, our buyers buyer’s loan was declined. We were going back on the market AGAIN! We contacted Duane to begin showings again ASAP. This was on a Monday. By Thursday night we accepted an offer, no contingencies, at almost full asking price after being on the market for almost 10 months. This was the end of August. We closed the end of September with no problems. If you want to sell your home, call Duane! He tells it like it is whether you want to hear it or not. Listen to him and your home will be sold.
